What is your favorite book of the Bible and why? Hebrews — Describes the ministry, work and glory of Christ in such a majestic way, it almost seems like poetry to me.

What is your favorite Bible verse and why?
2 Cor. 5:21 – “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” — This beautifully describes the “great exchange,” where our sin is imputed onto Christ, so that his righteousness can be imputed to our account, giving us forgiveness and eternal life.

What is one blessing you have seen while serving in your role? I have seen God’s powerful hand lead our church to come more in line with the pattern of the wonderful truth of His Word.

If you could choose one person from the Bible to be, who would you choose and why? Apollos – He used the Scriptures to help the believers to grow in their faith, and he “vigorously refuted” those who opposed Christianity, “proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Christ” (Acts 18:28).

What is something fun/unique about you that others may not know? I am a science fan, with some interest in astronomy; and I enjoy a small clock collection.
