Our churches’ dangerous calling: be in the world but not of the world. Through the years, many churches—great and small—have been overcome by the world. How can we find a way to withstand this suffocation or seduction of the world?

The Agros Fellowship believes the answer is plain:
“And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John 5:4)

​Frantically trying to find greater attendance, resources, or social influence will not overcome the world. The world can overcome all those things in a day. But when an ordinary church devotes extraordinary faith to the Word, prayer, fellowship, and ordinances, she finds the One who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). Come refresh and deepen that faith which first found the treasure of Christ’s grace in those ordinary means. We will have teaching from local pastors, prayer, fellowship, and singing.
