Occupations: Michelle is a stay at home mom. Sam works in Topeka at Highland Millshop building cabinets, and he also works at Banner Ag Repair outside of Holton servicing 4 wheelers and side by sides.

Are you from Holton? If not, where are you from? Sam was born and raised in Holton. His family all lives within 5 miles of each other! Michelle grew up in southeast Kansas in Chanute. We met each other in college at Pittsburg State University.

What is your family’s favorite activity? Sam really enjoys music. He is a part of 5 different bands. He also enjoys riding motorcycles/dirtbikes. Emily and Chloe enjoy playing outside and having books read to them. Michelle loves to read and play board games.

What is your family’s favorite season? We really like spring. We can be outside more and enjoy the longer days.

What is your family’s favorite tradition? Going to July Jubilee at Banner Lake with the whole Kuglin clan. The kids all really enjoy the fireworks and it’s fun to watch their excitement.
