Married: 47 years

Occupations: Dave retired from 42 years with Goodyear in 2012. He presently works as a school crossing guard, then spends his summers employed by Banner Lake. You will see him at the gatehouse or renting kayaks, paddle boats and paddle boards at the boathouse. Deb is a secretary/receptionist at Holton Elementary School.

Are you from Holton? Dave is originally from Mayetta and Deb is from Muscotah. We each moved to Holton our 6th grade year in school. We have lived in Holton ever since!!!

What is your family’s favorite activity? Watching all our grandchildren’s sporting, dancing events and activities. We are big fans of our Holton High School…as well as season ticket holders of K-State Women’s Basketball.

What is your family’s favorite season? We like them all!!

What is your family’s favorite tradition? Making Snyder Cider with the Snyder cousins every fall. And Christmas Eve with the family… eating Dave’s potato soup and playing games for prizes!!!
