JANUARY

Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. (Proverbs 13:20)

The one who states his case first seems right, until the other comes and examines him. (Proverbs 18:17)

“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above or on earth beneath, keeping covenant and showing steadfast love to your servants who walk before you with all their heart. (1 Kings 8:23)

But the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love. (Psalm 147:11)

Let another praise you, and not your own mouth; a stranger, and not your own lips. (Proverbs 27:2)

FEBRUARY

In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that man may not find out anything that will be after him.  (Ecclesiastes 7:14)

She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
(Proverbs 31:26)

But when in their distress they turned to the Lord, the God of Israel, and sought him, he was found by them. (2 Chronicles 15:4)

Now then, let the fear of the Lord be upon you. Be careful what you do, for there is no injustice with the Lord our God, or partiality or taking bribes. (2 Chronicles 19:7)

MARCH

He said, “Do not be afraid, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” (2 Kings 6:16)

Yet he sent prophets among them to bring them back to the Lord. These testified against them, but they would not pay attention. (2 Chronicles 24:19)

When God saw what they did, how they turned from their evil way, God relented of the disaster that he had said he would do to them, and he did not do it. (Jonah 3:10)

Seek good, and not evil, that you may live; and so the Lord, the God of hosts, will be with you, as you have said. (Amos 5:14)

APRIL

For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings. (Hosea 6:6)

Whoever is wise, let him understand these things; whoever is discerning, let him know them; for the ways of the Lord are right, and the upright walk in them, but transgressors stumble in them. (Hosea 14:9)

But the Lord of hosts, him you shall honor as holy. Let him be your fear, and let him be your dread. (Isaiah 8:13)

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? (Micah 6:8)

MAY

In that day man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will look on the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 17:7)

Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock. (Isaiah 26:4)

So now, O Lord our God, save us from his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you alone are the Lord. (Isaiah 37:20)

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1)

Whatever the Lord pleases, he does, in heaven and on earth, in the seas and all deeps. (Psalm 135:6)

JUNE

But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:5-6)

I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels. (Isaiah 61:10)

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; He knows those who take refuge in Him. (Nahum 1:7)

Behold, his soul is puffed up; it is not upright within him, but the righteous shall live by his faith. (Habakkuk 2:4)

JULY

There is none like you, O Lord; You are great, and Your name is great in might. (Jeremiah 10:6)

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?
(Jeremiah 17:9)

I will give them a heart to know that I am the Lord, and they shall be my people and I will be their God, for they shall return to me with their whole heart. (Jeremiah 24:7)

Behold, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah.  (Jeremiah 31:31)

Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name; deliver us, and atone for our sins, for your name’s sake! (Psalm 79:9)

AUGUST

That they may know that you alone, whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth. (Psalm 83:18)

The Lord is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him. (Lamentations 3:25)

Moreover, he said to me, “Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.” (Ezekiel 3:10)

And I will give them one heart, and a new spirit I will put within them. I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in my statutes and keep my rules and obey them. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God. (Ezekiel 11:19-20)

SEPTEMBER

And I sought for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the breach before me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none. (Ezekiel 22:30)

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 36:26)

And behold, the glory of the God of Israel was coming from the east. And the sound of his coming was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory. (Ezekiel 43:2)

And the name of the city from that time on shall be, The Lord Is There. (Ezekiel 48:35b)

OCTOBER

Daniel answered and said: “Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, to whom belong wisdom and might. He changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding. (Daniel 2:20-21)

“I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him;
his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed. (Daniel 7:13-14)

And they sang responsively, praising and giving thanks to the Lord, “For He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever toward Israel.” And all the people shouted with a great shout when they praised the Lord, because the foundation of the house of the Lord was laid. (Ezra 3:11)

Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways.” (Haggai 1:5)

And the angel said to those who were standing before him, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “Behold, I have taken your iniquity away from you, and I will clothe you with pure vestments.” (Zechariah 3:4)

NOVEMBER

“As I called, and they would not hear, so they called, and I would not hear,” says the Lord of hosts. (Zechariah 7:13)

And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are my people’; and they will say, ‘The Lord is my God.’” (Zechariah 13:9)

For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows whether you have not come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14)

Your own eyes shall see this, and you shall say, “Great is the Lord beyond the border of Israel!” (Malachi 1:5)

December

But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall. (Malachi 4:2)

And I said, “O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments.” (Nehemiah 1:5)

Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat and drink sweet wine and send portions to anyone who has nothing ready, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”(Nehemiah 8:10)
